It is with great sadness that Medaille Trust has learnt of the sudden passing of the former manager of our London East service, Bernice Anderson.
Bernice joined Medaille Trust in June 2007 and retired in August 2017 and dedicated her time to the support of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking. She loved working directly with survivors with the aim always of making their lives better. She was an incredible person with a big heart. Her passion and dedication in supporting survivors of human trafficking and slavery never faltered.
Even after her retirement she remained a mentor and friend to some of her former staff.
She will be missed greatly by all who knew her at Medaille and we give thanks for her dedicated service and feel privileged to have worked with her.
Bernice’s family have requested that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made in her memory to support the work of Medaille Trust’s London East Service.
Donations can be made online here or cheques sent to Medaille Trust, Cathedral Centre, 3 Ford Street, Salford, M3 6DP
