BBC Wiltshire features our Swindon Moving on Project

BBC Wiltshire has today published an article on the Swindon Moving On Project's awareness meeting. Originally held on the 19th of October for Anti-Slavery Day, this important meeting attracted a lot of local attention, with Swindon Mayor Barbara Parry in attendance, as well a radio journalists from BBC Wiltshire.

The article discusses many of the challenges faced by Modern Slavery charities in the Swindon area, and the terrible hardships faced by many victims of exploitation. The article also touches on many of the more hopeful messages from staff and volunteers.

Arzu Anderson, one of our volunteers at the Swindon MOP had this to say:

"It's a privilege. It's a very humbling experience. Sometimes I'm driving home and my eyes tear up because it touches my soul."
