The allotment project in the Halton area requires on going upkeep and development as well as growing fruit and vegetables. We are seeking volunteers who are interested in gardening to assist our Allotment Co-coordinator and clients with gardening tasks.
The role will include:
• General garden maintenance tasks including grass cutting / trimming, weeding, basic landscaping and plant propagation.
• Helping in the allotment with all aspects of horticulture and gardening.
• To motivate, encourage and support residents to take part in gardening activities.
Your time, skills and energy will change lives – whether you’re raising money or raising awareness of modern slavery, or helping with our services or marketing. Together we can reach further, shout louder and get closer to a world free from slavery.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a wide range of experience and motivations. Whatever your reason for deciding to volunteer, we want to make sure you enjoy your time with us and know just how much we value your support.
