Medaille Trust is the largest specialist provider of safe house beds for victims of modern slavery in Europe.
Founded in 2006 by a number of religious congregations in response to the plight of thousands of people who are being trafficked into the UK each year, it opened its first safe house in January 2007. It now has nine safe houses across England accommodating women, men and families, with up to 116 victims being supported every night.
SALARY: £24,128.40 per annum (includes London Weighting) pro rata for part time
HOURS: 15 hours per week
LOCATION: London, Hayes
CONTRACT: Fixed Term until 31 March 2021

You will act as a Modern Slavery Caseworker, working with designated clients in order to effectively co-ordinate their support. You will work as a member of the team providing a safe temporary environment for adults who are vulnerable from outside the UK who have experienced trauma.
You will provide high quality practical and emotional support to the clients, helping them to develop the practical skills and self-confidence to live safely and independently.
This service may be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly across a variety of shift patterns and possibility across the full week. This role will include on-call and sleep-in duties and an additional payment will be made. The applicant will also be expected to line manager Support Workers (Bank).
