This year marks a decade since the launch of the Modern Slavery Act – a landmark moment in the fight against exploitation. Over the past 10 years, progress has been made, but modern slavery remains a hidden crime affecting thousands of lives across the UK and beyond.
Join us as we look back over the last 10 years since the launch of the Modern Slavery Act.
This milestone is an important opportunity to reflect on the progress made, the challenges that remain, and the lives impacted. In line with this year’s theme, “We all have a role to play,” we are reminded that ending modern slavery is a shared responsibility.
At this special event, you’ll hear from leading voices in the fight against modern slavery, including:
-
Medaille Trust
-
Saint John of God Hospitaller Services
-
Caritas Social Action Network
Together, communities, organisations, and individuals can stand against exploitation and work towards a future where every person is free.
