Medaille Trust is committed to helping you successfully resettle in Albania. We work closely with a network of Albanian civil society organisations, tailoring support to your individual needs. We offer a 12-month programme which focuses on support for employment, education or training, and supporting you working towards your aspirations. We can also offer more immediate support such as help on arrival in Albania and short-term housing.

We work with you to understand what help you may need. Our aim is to ensure you return safely and to support you with any future plans or aspirations you have. This could be starting a business, reuniting with family or onward travel to a new country.

List of support available:

Support with accessing the local job market.
Funding and support with setting up a business.
Funding and support accessing vocational training or further education.
Assistance with legal migration opportunities.
Support with in-country documentation.
Signposting to local services.

Mental wellbeing and counselling.
Airport Reception.
Accommodation.
Transportation to an address incountry.
Care & food provision packs.
Small cash assistance for immediate needs.
Assistance with finding and reuniting with family.

If you are eligible, the voluntary returns service can:

explain your options for returning home
help you get travel documents, such as a passport
pay for travel tickets, if you are unable to

You may also be eligible to apply for financial support of up to £3,000.
You can use this support to find somewhere to live, find a job or start a business in your home country.
