The Medaille Trust recently supported UK Border Force and law enforcement teams during a series of early morning raids across Yorkshire, aimed at disrupting suspected human trafficking and exploitation networks.
Our trained staff were on-site to provide immediate support to potential victims identified during the operations, offering trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and onward referral into specialised support services.
These joint efforts are part of our ongoing collaboration with national authorities to ensure victims of modern slavery are recognised, protected, and empowered to recover. The raids underscore the importance of frontline partnerships in the fight against trafficking and exploitation across the UK.
Medaille remains committed to supporting survivors and working alongside law enforcement agencies to break the cycle of modern slavery.
