Today is the United Nations World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. By the end of this day 247 people would have been trafficked in the world. Last year 90,354 people were trafficked globally. In this video our Director of Police and Justice Partnerships Marcus Dawson talks about the scale of the problem and what we can do as individuals to help spot trafficking and modern slavery. Medaille Trust is actively working with law enforcement to secure justice for the victims of trafficking and modern slavery.
