Medaille Trust Albania is proud to announce a new partnership with Western Balkans University (WBU), reinforcing our commitment to supporting the next generation through meaningful collaboration and hands-on experience.
The partnership agreement was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, President of WBU, and Mrs. Ana Stakaj, Country Manager for Medaille Trust in Albania.
This collaboration aims to offer internship opportunities to WBU students, giving them valuable experience in the nonprofit and social justice sector. In addition to internships, students will be invited to take part in joint activities, including awareness-raising events and field-based learning opportunities related to combating modern slavery and supporting survivors.
The agreement also opens the door to professional and technical exchanges, enabling capacity-building efforts between the two institutions. As part of the initiative, Medaille Trust experts will host lectures and workshops at WBU, covering critical topics around human trafficking, victim care, and safeguarding.
This partnership reflects our shared mission to empower youth, enhance their professional development, and create positive change within the Albanian community.
